Tameside u3a provides educational, recreational and leisure activities for people, mainly retired or semi retired, living in Tameside and surrounding areas (Activities are in the main held daytimes, Monday to Friday).

We have interest groups held at various centres in Hyde run by and for members and are always pleased to consider new ones .

We hold a meeting each Monday from September to June at the Central Methodist Church, Crook Street, Hyde SK14 1NQ from 2pm to 3pm with a speaker or alternative activity and arrange occasional outings to places of interest, theatres, cinemas ….. throughout the year.  Regular activities and timings are listed in the “Activities” pages.
